Hendersonville police have arrested a woman for falsely reporting an assault that did not occur.

On Monday, Chasity Dawn Perry, 36, of Hendersonville told police a man invaded her home at The Point at Waterford Crossing in the 100 Spade Leaf Boulevard area. She said she resisted when the man attempted to disrobe her and the suspect fled.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation assisted the police to create a rendering of what the suspect could look like.

Police have since determined the assault did not occur and arrested Perry on Thursday. The court date and bond has not yet been released.
