After months of remodeling, the Glenbrook Way Kroger in Hendersonville celebrates its new services Wednesday — with free food giveaways.

The store invites the public to its grand opening 7 a.m., when the first 300 customers will receive coupons for free orange juice, sausage, a dozen eggs, and English muffins.

The pharmacy was also remodeled, and the store includes The Little Clinic open daily.

“The customers have been very patient during this remodel process, and I think they will be pleased with what we now have to offer them,” store manager Maya Horton said in a news release.

The remodeling of the 54,000-square-foot store is further investment in the city. A new location at 237 E. Main St. opened this spring.

The public can also attend a ribbon cutting ceremony at 9 a.m. Wednesday at 1010 Glenbrook Way.
